halloween halloween
October 30, 2008she'd be clueless as this is her first halloween party ever!
moreover it's kind of challenging to explain to her what are ghosts, vampires etc without frightening her!
really don't like the idea.
but this is cool…pacman costume! haha
lulu
October 30, 2008one of my favourite stalls at the gillman village fair was lulu australia bags .
it has nice beach bags which you can double up as diaper bag!
monthly fair at 22 lock rd
October 30, 2008a friend brought me to a fair at gillman village this morning.
i felt like i was transported to a foreign country as the people here were mostly caucasian – expats' wives!
but the fair is very interesting.
there are stuff which you can't get from the shopping malls as some have a shop front while some don't.
on usual days, this place sells furniture.
but once a month, last thursday of the month, there will be a fair.
you can find many interesting things here, ranging from children's clothes to ladies apparels, accessories, toys and other crafts.
most of the sellers bring in items from foreign countries, some created the items they sell.
it's a shame that i can't display the things that were on sale.
but no harm checking the fair out next month!
spinelli coffee, nice hot burgers, sandwiches and cakes are available too.
hence the place is a nice, quaint place for morning tea or afternoon tea.

marissa’s laughter
October 29, 2008this really cheers me up!
sunday brunch at joo chiat place shop house
October 27, 2008this house is really gorgeous!
it is kaif's dream house – a conservation shop house with an air well.
but we'll never be able to afford one.
even if we can, i think we will find it hard to justify burning more than 3.2 million dollars on it!
so we're thankful that our friends invited us over.
even lizzie and sa sa love it!
they showed their preference for expensive houses through their well behaviour!
lizzie the flower girl
October 27, 2008it was a good friend's wedding last sat.
lizzie was one of the flower girls.
it was her first time.
i was stressed.
she is so not gracious!
sigh.
but still very cute and adorable in mommy and daddy's eyes!
god’s grace
October 24, 2008God has been most gracious and merciful to me.
i didn't realise it till i had a little car accident yesterday on the expressway with my two precious one onboard!
i have always been a careful driver though sometimes blur.
i don't speed,
i don't change lane unnecessarily,
i check my rear mirror regularly,
i don't tailgate.
but a reckless cabbie overtook an old man who panicked and swerved into my lane hitting my back with a loud bang!
many things could have gone wrong:
1. i could have bang into a car in front
2. my car could have flown many kilometers in any direction
3. the old man could have crushed my kids at the back
4. he could also crash into liz from the the left door instead of the back
but i thank God that none of these happened.
thank God that there were no injuries and that my kids were properly buckled in their car seats.
this incident really shows how often we don't have control over our lives even when we are careful.
hence parents, never try to save money on proper car seats, never be lazy and make sure you buckle up your kids!
last but not least, always treasure the your love ones as you never know when God is going to bring them Home.
